Blasts from the past #4 – Tony Cetinski @ Arena Zagreb. I believe it was May 23rd 2009, either that or something messed up the date on the picture. But anyways, this was definitely the first concert from his double-feature selling out the Arena Zagreb (being the first, and only man to do it twice).

I love doing double gigs, since they are usually completely the same production-wise (clothes, lights, songs, choreography) which means that you can always use some images from the first concert which you shot safe, and experiment and play around on the second one.

Or you can take your time, set up and wait for that one shot that’s going to make you look really good, since you already know first-hand how that concert works.

U2 @ Maksimir, Zagreb

Blasts from the past no. 3 are Adam Clayton and The Edge from the U2 concert at Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb, shot on August 9th 2009. When you get to shoot these guys at 18mm wide, you know you’re not in the worst line of work.

The other people in the image are his three kids, which we wanted to show as influences to his work. They were great to work with, since Jovana (middle) is a professional actress and Aleksa (right) has a movie-role behind him at fifteen. Sometimes, you are there to set up the lights and click a button, everything else comes together on it’s own.

Blast from the past no. 2 is a concert from December 11th 2009. These guys have been playing for about thirty years straight, and I finaly got to shoot them after about three gigs falling trough for various reasons. It was well worth the wait. The full gallery is available from muzika.hr here.

The new site and some related news

Welcome to the new and hopefuly improved web-site. First of all, I want to send a lot of respect to the people making this theme – be sure to check out Shaken and Stirred Web.

Also, since business has been running a bit slow lately, like it does every summer, I’ll be posting some blasts from the past, a bunch of pictures that were either never posted, or got lost in the many relocations and redesigns this site has suffered.
