You guys probably noticed by now that I don’t like to put a lot of these effects and whatnots on my concert images. I think it’s overused and makes boring stuff insta-hipsta-cool-or-whatever. But for this Bon Jovi gig, I wanted to bring it back to the golden ages of rock and roll, so I gave it a little retro nudge.
In addition to being the kick-off date for the European tour, this was the first show after Richie Sambora checked out of rehab, which made the shooting that much better.
